The HG-TB7 torque hinge set consists of a left (HG-TB7L) and a right (HG-TB7R) hinge for symmetrical, horizontally mounted flap guidance.

Each hinge generates a constant torque of 0.7 N·m, allowing for stepless positioning of the flap within the appropriate load range.

Together, both hinges provide a nominal total torque of 1.4 N·m and distribute the load evenly to both sides.

The free-stop function holds lids, displays, or appliance flaps in the desired position without additional detents.

The mirror-image left-right design ensures clean installation and stable, controlled movement in both directions of rotation.

Installation:

• Both hinge axes must be precisely at the same height, horizontally aligned, and flush with each other
• For the necessary alignment clearance, the mounting holes must be made slightly oversized with a tolerance of C0.5 according to the manufacturer's specifications
• The vertical legs are securely fastened with M5 countersunk screws and the horizontal legs with M5 pan-head or cylinder head screws
• Then, the flap must be operated over the entire range of motion, and the secure positioning in different opening positions must be checked
