The flap stay HDS-30HR-BL (180-104-082) is a soft-down flap stay for upward-opening wooden furniture flaps.

It slows down the closing movement of the flap and thus prevents it from slamming shut.

The integrated catch mechanism securely holds the flap in the closed position on the cabinet body.

In the open position, the fitting supports a stable end position with an opening angle of 80°.

The heavy-duty H-version is designed for flaps with a torque of 24.5 to 29.4 N·m per pair, making it suitable for larger or heavier upward-opening flaps.

The fitting can be combined with piano hinges, continuous hinges or suitable cup hinges and enables a controlled, high-quality flap movement in furniture construction.

Mounting:

• Mounting is done using the six screws included in the scope of delivery (self-tapping pan head screw 3.5 x 15 mm)
• First, the torque of the flap must be calculated and checked so that the version matches the weight and height of the flap
• Then the hinges must be correctly mounted, and the flap must open and close smoothly before installing the flap stay
• The flap stay HDS-30HR-BL is attached to the right cabinet side panel according to the mounting drawing with screws ⌀ 3.5 x 15 mm
• The flap stay has 3 mounting holes. The distance between the mounting holes is 126 mm (4-61/64″) and 28 mm (1-7/64″)
• The distance between the center of the fitting and the inner front edge is 35 mm (1-3/8″)
• The mounting plate is first pre-fixed to the flap via the slotted hole
• Then the flap is opened and closed so that the position of the mounting plate can be adjusted to ensure smooth and even movement
• Finally, the mounting plate is firmly screwed in via the round holes and all screws are checked for a tight fit. The distance between the mounting holes is 32 mm (1-17/64″) (for more details see mounting drawing)
