The compact plug-in hinge B-56-L is used for the movable connection of small doors, flaps and housing parts.

Thanks to the two-part plug-in design, the door can be lifted off the fixed hinge part if necessary, without having to unscrew the hinge.

The left-hand version enables targeted use with correspondingly left-hand hinged doors and equipment flaps.

With a height of only 35 mm (1-3/8″), the hinge is particularly suitable for compact equipment housings, measuring devices as well as electronic and technical equipment.

The cold-rolled steel sheet ensures a stable construction, while the galvanized and chromated surface protects the steel from corrosion.

When two hinges are mounted one above the other, the lift-off hinge B-56-L is suitable for light doors with a reference weight of 2 kg.

Assembly:

• Mounting is done with screws of approx. ⌀2.3 to 2.5 mm, preferably with pan or round head (not included in delivery)
• The plug-in hinge B-56-L is positioned on the door or flap and the associated frame or housing
• Care must be taken to ensure the left-hand version so that the hinge is mounted to match a left-hand hinged door or equipment flap
• First, the positions of the four mounting holes must be marked according to the hole pattern
• Then, suitable mounting holes or pre-drilled holes must be made depending on the material used
• The two hinge halves are fastened to the movable and fixed component with suitable screws
• The hinge axes of at least two hinges mounted one above the other must be exactly aligned
• Then, the movable part is placed on the hinge pin from above
• To remove the door or flap, it is lifted and pulled off the fixed hinge part
