The lift-off hinge B-1004-1-L (10563) connects doors or flaps releasably to a housing.

By lifting, the movable component can be separated from the fixed hinge part without loosening the fastening screws.

The left and right versions are designed for correspondingly hinged constructions.

The SUS304 material and the mirror-polished surface offer high corrosion resistance for kitchen, marine and outdoor applications.

Six countersunk holes allow flush and low-interference mounting with M3 countersunk screws.

When using two hinges vertically, TAKIGEN states a door weight of 15 kg as a reference value.

• First, the positions of the two hinge halves must be marked and the six mounting points prepared
• The housing-side hinge half is fastened with three M3 countersunk screws
• The door-side hinge half is also mounted with three M3 countersunk screws
• Both hinge halves must be aligned so that the hinge pin can be inserted without tension
• Then the door or flap is placed on the hinge pin from above
• Finally, smooth operation, full engagement of the pin and tight fit of all screws must be checked
